So many sunsets
The countless sunrises
Sometimes I wish
I could just close my eyes

ေနဝင္ခ်ိန္မ်ားစြာ
ေနထြက္ျခင္းအနႏၱာ
တခါတရံမွာ
ငါ့မ်က္လံုးေတြကိုပိတ္ထားခ်င္လိုက္တာ........

But to sleep is to dream
And to dream is to lie
Creating the fanatical world
Of a weary mind

ဒါေပမယ့္
အိပ္မက္မက္ဖို႔အိပ္စက္တာ
လိမ္ညာဖို႔အိပ္မက္တာ
စိတ္ကူးယဥ္ကမ႓ာဖန္ဆင္းရာ
ငါ့ရဲ႕ႏြမ္းနယ္စိတ္ထဲမွာ........

Insomnia is unrestful
Watching time play
But so is society
And its day to day

အဆက္မျပတ္အိပ္မေပ်ာ္ျခင္းမွာ
အခ်ိန္ေ႐ြ႕တာေစာင့္ေနမွာ
ေန႔ေတြျဖတ္သန္းညင္သာစြာ
လူ႔အသိုင္းအဝိုင္းမသိပါ........

A good night's rest
Isn’t much to ask
But steadily becomes
Another trifling task

ေမးခြန္းမ်ားစြာေမးခဲ့ပါ
ေကာင္းေသာညမွာအနားယူကာ
ဘာပဲျဖစ္ျဖစ္တစ္ေန႔မွာ
ညည္းေငြ႕စရာတို႔ဝန္တာ.......

I fluff my pillow
Sink into the mattress
And slowly release
My daily stresses

ေခါင္းအံုးေလးကိုႏုညံ့ေစရာ
ေမြ႕ယာထဲမွာနစ္ျမဳပ္ပါ
ေန႔စဥ္ဖိအားေတြေလ်ာ့နည္းတာ
တျဖည္းျဖည္းနဲ႔စိတ္သက္သာ.......

I drift into an ocean
Of mesmeric sound
Only to be awaken
By a thunder cloud

ညႈိ႕ယူဖမ္းစားတဲ့အသံဖြာ
ပင္လယ္ထဲသို႔ငါေမ်ာပါ
ၿခိမ္းေတာ့မယ့္မိုးတိမ္ျပာ
ငါ့ကိုႏိုးထေစမွာ........

Thoughts swarm above
And coax me to life
Just before the moment
I would have closed my eyes

ငါ့အေတြးေတြကတြယ္ဖက္တာ
ငါ့ဘဝကိုေျမႇာက္ပင့္လာ
မ်က္လံုးမ်ားကိုမမွိတ္ခင္မွာ
ဒီတဒဂၤတိတ္ဆိတ္စြာ......

The darkness again
Has been whisked away
Beaten to death
By a lovely day

အေမွာင္ထုေနာက္တစ္ႀကိမ္ေရာက္လာ
ညကိုေမႊေႏွာက္လႈပ္ခါ
ေသျခင္းကိုအႏိုင္ယူကာ
ျမတ္ႏိုးစရာေန႔တစ္ေန႔ပါ......

I’ll try again tonight
To get some sleep
But will be disappointed
With another defeat

အိပ္စက္ျခင္းကိုရဖို႔ကြာ
ဒါေပမယ့္ စိတ္ပ်က္စရာ
